Parking Rules and Regulations
All Kentfield Commons homeowners are responsible for making sure that all residents and/or guests of the unit they own know and abide by all the association's rules and regulations.
15 MPH Speed Limit

The speed limit in Kentfield Commons is 15 miles per hour. Please look out for pedestrians, bycyclist, children and pets, and remind your visitors and all of the drivers in your household to drive slowly and carefully.
Parking and Community Streets
Parking of any vehicles on the Kentfield Commons streets is prohibited. All streets in the community are designated fire lanes and must be kept clear for emergency vehicles. (CC&Rs Article 28. (p))
There is to be no obstruction of the common area, including streets, sidewalks and other common area access. (CC&Rs Article 28. (c)) Parking is prohibited on sidewalks.
All commercial trucks or vehicles, all boats, trailers, RVs, campers and motorcycles must be parked in the garage at all times. The parking of any of these vehicles in driveways is expressly prohibited.
No more than two (2) vehicles may be parked in a driveway at any time. (CC&Rs Article 28. (k))
No parking of a homeowner's vehicle in a guest parking space at any time. (CC&Rs Article 28. (p))
All guest and service vehicles, like repair people, must be parked in an officially designated guest area and only for a reasonable period of time for guests visiting your home. (CC&RS 28. p). A guest vehicle parked continuously for more than 72 hours in a guest-parking bay will be subject to citation and towing. A guest vehicle using the guest parking areas for more than three weeks is no longer a guest but is treated as a resident vehicle. These vehicles will then be subject to the same rules as residents and subject to citation and tow. Only temporal guests are permitted in guest parking.
All overflow parking must park outside the Kentfield Commons gates.

Make it a habit to ask your guests and/or vendors visiting your home where they are parked.
Parking Enforcement Procedures
Parking violators can be cited in writing and fined according to fine schedule approved by the Board of Directors. Any resident may report a parking violation directly to the Association Manager by providing the parking location address, vehicle license number and description, date and time of infraction.
A. When a violation occurs, or if there are repeated violations by homeowners, residents, and/or their guests, the Board may, at its discretion, impose a fine of $50.00 per violation on the owners of the unit where the violator resides or is visiting.
B. The Board, at its discretion, may have the offending vehicle towed at the expense of the owner of the vehicle in addition to or in lieu of ''A.'' noted above.
C. At any time after a violation continues, the Board of Directors may schedule a parking violation fine hearing for the owner of the unit where the violator resides.
The Association, through its Board of Directors, has a duty to make reasonable efforts to see that uniform enforcement of the Association CC&Rs and Rules is carried out at the development.. However, it should be noted that a failure to enforce the CC&Rs or Rules of the Association in some cases does not invalidate that particular CC&Rs or rule.
